Celebrating Success and Connected Healthcare for the Holidays, 2016

Enjoying family and friends this Christmas as we look forward to 2017

Merry Christmas 2016

Since March of this year I’ve changed roles from being a Supply Chain and ERP consultant to being a Healthcare leader. Focusing on a journey to Connected Healthcare. That is joining Life Sciences and Healthcare. Along the way I am so very grateful for the support of my family and friends. Especially my followers on the various Social Media outlets (Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and others…)

Healthcare has an important meaning to me, and my family. It is the reason I’ve spent my career in Life Sciences (includes Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices) and Healthcare specifically hospital systems. I learned a lot these past few months about Cancer, Parkinson’s, the need for kidney transplants, dementia and aging.

I am fortunate to work for a company that provides cloud services around Infrastructure and Platform-as-a-Service. Learning how to apply these technologies to improve both Life Sciences and Healthcare has been a challenge and a motivation.

During the Christmas break I will share some of the key focus area for 2017. I am tasked with building a business to support Life Sciences and Healthcare. After months of listening to the market and mapping out our company’s strengths I’ve developed a go-to-market plan to address the industry. One overarching message is the need to ‘integrate’ Life Sciences and Healthcare into Connected Healthcare. 2017 will be an interesting year and I will invite you to see what I hope will be exciting solution offering for the industry.

So as we spend our holidays this weekend with family, and friends, be very grateful for where you are and what you have. It is not about wealth and what you have, for me at least, it is how you live, and I am so very thankful this Christmas 2016.

May God keep you, and bless you in the days ahead — now go and enjoy.
